Adam Betts, drummer from Three Trapped Tigers and solo musician extraordinaire, has released another video in anticipation of the release of his debut album which you can check out below. The album is released on the 25th November through Blood & Biscuits.
Japanese math-rock pioneers Lite have released a split-EP with jazz-math wizards Mouse on the Keys. You can listen on Spotify and buy from Bandcamp. Lite have also announced that their next album, entitled Cubic, will be released on the 16th November through Topshelf Records.

Emo-Math legends American Football have not only reformed recently but are releasing a new album. It will be self-titled and released on the 21st of October through Wichita Recordings. You can pre-order it here.
Electronic/post-rock one-man-band Kid Kin releases a beatifically crafted new single tomorrow entitled Masterclash. You can listen/buy it here. You can also find details of his first ever tour on his Facebook page.
Rumours are hotting up that post-rock pioneers Do Make Say Think are releasing a new album, as they not-so-cryptically revealed on their Facebook page recently.

The saddest news of the month is that yet another brilliant math-rock band is departing us and Enemies are calling it a day. They are leaving us with one final album however which promises to be superb if this single is anything to go by:
London-based mini-festival Portals have announced their next lineup for the 20th November with just the headliners still TBA.
Infamous Scottish math/post-rock band Vasa are releasing a new double-A side Burst Open on the 29th October. The first half Burst is streaming over on Arctic Drones now.
3rd October - Korean innovators Jambinai bring their sensational dark post-rock with classical Korean instrumentation to Oslo, Hackney as part of the Korean Music Festival K-Fest. Tickets are available here.
Super talented Californian acoustic artist Yvette Young tours the UK throughout October. Make sure you catch her at the most local show to you. More details are here.
15th October - One of the best festivals in the UK, A Carefully Planned Festival returns to a whole host of venues in Manchester. Check out the full lineup here. Musical Mathematics are curating a stage at Night & Day cafe which looks phenomenal.
22nd & 23rd October - Make sure you catch Wakizashi. A multi-genre experimental music festival taking pace at the Jam Jar Collective in Bristol.
31st October - if you haven't got any pans for Halloween yet, sensual post-rock maestros Alma are playing their biggest headline gig at date at The Lexington with support from Steve Strong and Natalie Evans. Details are through this link.
